Veg Alu Tikki Burger / Veg Potato Burger

Hello All,

To add to our list of snacks, we have the wonderful veg potato burger. It is very simple to make and very delicious to eat. So let us have a look at its ingredients first.

Procedure




  1. Boil the potatoes until tender.
  2. Peel the boiled potatoes and mash them with a masher.
  3. In a big mixing bowl add mashed potatoes, corn powder, all vegetables, and spices.
  4. Mix well the above mixture with the hand and check the hardness of the batter.
  5. The batter should be hard enough to make the fine balls of it. If required add some more corn powder and mix well to make it harder.
  6. Heat a flat pan and add some oil for greasing.
  7. Make a thick-round disk of the mixed potato batter.
  8. Add the disk to the pan and again add some oil to the ends of the disk.
  9. Bake until the layer becomes crispy brown.
  10. Turn upside down and do the same.
  11. Bake the Bun / Breads.
  12. To one half bun add a layer of Mayo Sauce, Tomatoes, Potato Disk, Onion Rings, Bell Pepper Cuttings, Cheese and again the other half of the bun or bread.
  13. Serve hot with ketchup.
