Homemade Cookies

Hi Everyone,

Did you ever thought that how long does it take to make simple cookies at your home? Well if you have given a thought over it then this is a good place to perfectly answer your query. It doesn't require you to go to the market and do the shopping. Everything is available at your home. All you need is to go to your kitchen and start preparing your awesome cookies! So let's have a look at what all is needed for it.

Ingredients
2 cup         All Purpose Flour (Maida)
1 cup         Sugar
1 cup         Melted Butter (Ghee)
1 tsp          Baking Powder
A pinch of salt (Optional)

Procedure
  1. In a bowl add baking powder and flour and mix it properly.
  2. In a separate mixing bowl mix melted butter and sugar thoroughly.
  3. To this add flour mixture gradually with continuous stirring so as to avoid the formation of lumps in the batter.
  4. Gradually the batter will become very stiff and tight like a dough.
  5. Now take some oil or melted butter on your hand and make small equal sized balls and flatten them.
  6. In an oven plate spread the aluminum foil evenly.
  7. Place the balls at equidistant position by a definite margin.
  8. Now preheat the oven at 425 and place the plate in oven for 12 minutes.
  9. After 12 minutes check the cookies by inserting a tester. If it comes out clean then cookies are cooked, otherwise bake it for further 3-4 minutes.
  10. Now take out the oven plate and let it cool for 5-10 minutes and then remove the baked cookies from it.
Your cookies are ready in just 30 minutes.
Enjoy it and write me something about your experience with it.

1 tsp              Lemonade
1/3 tsp           Soda

Procedure
  1. In a separate bowl mix dry flour and baking powder.
  2. In a big mixing bowl add melted butter and sugar. Stir well to mix properly.
  3. To this mixture gradually add some flour and then some milk with continuous stirring. Mix all the flour and milk gradually to make the batter.
  4. To this batter add lemonade, soda and mix well.
  5. The batter is ready to be cooked.
  6. Preheat the oven to 350.
  7. Grease the cake pot with some oil or melted butter. Sprinkle flour over it so as to make its edges stick free when the cake is baked.
  8. Pour the batter to the pot without giving it much jerks.
  9. You can garnish your cake by dropping some nuts over it at the top. It is optional.
  10. Place the pot in oven for 55 minutes.
  11. Check the cake by inserting a knife at various places. If knife comes out as clean then it is properly baked, otherwise bake it further for 5-10 minutes.
